    Coastal Cruzers is a family owned and operated business established in 2022. We specialize in electric bicycles, low speed electric vehicles, and other fun power sports items. Our store is located in Litchfield, Maine.

    We offer the following products:

    • Electric Bicycles:  An electric bicycle (e-bike, eBike, etc.) is a motorized bicycle with an integrated electric motor used to assist propulsion. Many kinds of e-bikes are available worldwide, but they generally fall into two broad categories: bikes that assist the rider’s pedal-power (i.e. pedelecs) and bikes that add a throttle, integrating moped-style functionality. Both retain the ability to be pedaled by the rider and are therefore not electric motorcycles. E-bikes use rechargeable batteries and typically are motor-powered up to 25 to 32 km/h (16 to 20 mph). 
    • E-Scooters:  Electric kick scooters have surpassed internal combustion-engined scooters in popularity since 2000.  They usually have two wheels between 8 and 11 inches (20–28 cm) in diameter, one or both of which are fitted with an electric motor, connected by a platform on which the rider stands, with a handlebar for support and steering. 
    • Low-Speed Vehicles:  In the United States and Canada, low-speed vehicle (LSV) regulations allow relaxed design and registration laws for four-wheel vehicles that have a maximum capable speed of about 25 mph (40 km/h). Several other countries have similar regulations.
